For it was never boring to begin with… I mean, how on Earth can it be? With a hair’s breath suspense of air stirs in/and around the Tudor Royal Court with momentarily certainty, fraught with excitement, sexual trysts, spying, slanderous gossip, danger and the potentiality of the hangman’s noose is ever present or perhaps a warrant form the religious inquisitor, constantly having to be taking into account ( but most likely never is) with every darn whisper! Boring I ask you? Absolutely not!! Never!!! It’s pure nerve-racking, suspense at every corner in England -forget the court assembling in palaces. It’s their fault that history has become “boring” to the youth. So you See…!! I’m totally gutted that Philippa was not my poxy history teacher… and forever morbid of the fact that it took her books on the war of the cousins to make me realised … I actually do love history… I do … it’s the darn teachers who teach history I cannot fathom. I will forever hear the words “My Lord” and think of just because that’s how ‘Hannah the Holy Fool’s’ character invokes it in my mind, every-time she said it, almost like a lover’s prayer or perhaps, that there can only be 1 “My Lord”… and somehow, it belongs coming from her tongue, for her Lord Dudley.

Bereft that none of my (back in the heyday) historical teachers had the faintest inkling to tell the full body & soul richness of a history, let alone any history, as brilliantly as PG has done so here, with this ‘gem ‘of adult colouring book. Form henceforth I feel like I’ve been denied the depth & breath of the sum of every history class I have ever taken. But, My God!!! What an incredible feeling, to experience factual history, that feels brand new (smiling) & somehow, I now also feel like I want to do this, all over again. Almost … however, we do know what transpired, so alas, it was just a nostalgic “feeling”’ of unknowing. (Giggling) Anyhoo a trip down memory lane has never felt so fraught with angst… it almost felt like we did not know what the heck will happen. Indeed the book/narration was “Dope & Fresh” : As the saying goes amongst the urban youth.
